What if if the non-gym goers don't have the same eye for perfection like you do?:beli:

What if you just have a keen eye b/c you notice your right trap bigger than your left...not insecure?:why:

A person calls you buff and you disagree b/c you compare yourself to other gym users and not the average joe. They try to tell you stop being self conscious and enjoy compliment. Who's right? :leostare:

"Would an able body man feel accomplished beating a wheel-chair man in a race??" :skip:

Yeah it's real...

I learned the hard way through struggling with depression once I reached a certain goal / size....

During my late teenage years(3 years ago) I used to think once I gain β lbs at Θ% and can lift φ weight, I would magically be the man. Instead all I felt was emptiness, along with an unrelenting internal desire get bigger and stronger. Eventually I spiraled in a series of depressions(more than) where I didn't lift for a few weeks and threw my diet in the trash, because I found working out to be pointless, once you conquer a goal.

One real of thumb I noticed when body dismorphia sets in occurs, right I'm getting out the shower....If my body looks like it belongs with head. It's time to lean up :camby:

Breh, I feel like Im never gonna get to where i want to be. I dont see the changes in myself that other people see. I've lost 17lbs and i lift 5 times a week. Im 5'9 and i went from 197lb to 180lb and im a beast for my size. 36 inch waist to a 31. I know im looking better, but I dont see it myself.

Hell yeah it's a real thing. I'm 6'7 255 and I used to have those off days where I'm not feelin it and a random 5'10 cat'll pass by somewhere and make me think

:ld:Maybe I should hit my shoulders twice a week for a bit just for good measure and I know my shoulders are wide as shyt already

Especially that post goal smash period. Like say you hit a target weight or destroy a PR by a few pounds etc, that post let down period can mess with your head big time when u get an unexpected compliment etc
