Let me be honest yes we the ppl of the coli look down on other social media, many of us think coli not even social media. The Thing is Men grow in benchmarks (age wise) so what we think is cool at 19 might be stupid at 21.

The fact that many of us joined message boards in high school, we adapted to the thoughts of ppl who are older and wiser than ourselves which has made us distain the thought and actions of are peers. What I'm trying to say is the facts are we have been groomed on tons of topics from black plight to the evils of white people.

This has aged are minds to the point where we see are peers as lost fools who can't see what really happing in front of them. This leads to mental isolation (not physical) which brings in depression which so many Men on here seem to have.

Simple answer is to stay off coli or just hang out more with your peers.

The main idea is Being wise beyond your years is a gift and curse.

Why should any black person be happy to wallow in self-inflicted ignorance and stupidity?
:camby:
I'm mad as fukk today...b. That anger that inspires that change in the world ya feel me?

I can understand, you a sensitive ass college black boi that hangs out with majority white people at a PWI and this information you are learning about the black experience in AMerica nad abroad is fukking you up mentally and you just want to live in ignorance and pretend race doesn't matter and still act like you on the same level as them. I used to be like you....keywords: USED TO.

No black person can afford to be ignorant and dumb....sure, this society loves ignorant and dumb nikkas..but honestly the majority of ignorant and dumb nikkas are not getting rewarded, they are getting fukked over and exploited by everyone else who is awake while they are sleeping.

TL, DR; 1 star, neg rep pending.

The "depression" comes from the racial tension being on the rise.

You are trying to put blame on the coli yet you fail to realize that the world is changing outside and thus people will naturally react to it via depression or waking up and manning up and going against it.

So it would be better to be woke than blissfully ignorant.

For in much knowledge is much grief, and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

For as much bullshyt that's in the Bible it does occasionally drop gems.

I know what you mean, but by nature I'm seek knowledge, so I couldn't live in the Dark. It's pathological for me to be in the know.

how old are you OP?

the fact is that reality is harsh and ignoring it isn't gonna make shyt better.
our biggest problem collectively is that we still want to believe integration was a success, and many of us downplay racism even though it's pretty blatant.
how can you solve a problem if you won't even acknowledge it? it's cowardice to ignore our dire situation.

OP sounds like a Keith Murray verse:heh:

To answer your question, it is worth it. No need living life obliviously and falling for subtle shenanigans.:francis:

"It is better to be a human being dissatisfied than a pig satisfied; better to be Socrates dissatisfied than a fool satisfied. And if the fool, or the pig, is of a different opinion, it is only because they only know their own side of the question.” - J. S. Mill (1863)
