Is anybody using Google+

It seems cool. But everybody is still with Facebook and Twitter. Even Instagram and Pinterest came through and caught fire. Google+ still looking

From what I understand its good for the tech news, updates, and meeting strangers.

the only thing its remotely useful in (and the only reason I got it for) is the multi-webcam hangout. comes useful for video 'conferences' that arent official or if youre doing them from not your own computer, etc.

everything else about it is lame

I've never even tried a Hangout before. I've seen the commercials though. I can do this from a cellphone/tablet too right?

Yeah, you can do it from any device with G+ on it

I like Google, but they need to fail in some aspects.

It's never good when a company literally has all the power.

Google Maps is one of the greatest thigs ever. Google browser, GMAIL, etc. All great.

I still use G+. It was actually better in the beginning during the invite period. Its best for news and getting with like minded people. I don't think its a fail per say. It does what its intended for which is sharing content and news.

I use it for the instant upload feature. Plus you can edit the photo's once they're uploaded.

I use G+ and instagram mostly. Love the mobile app and instant upload. Like dues said follow a specific circle and network. Met some cool people off there. Its way better than facebook ever was. I have a galaxy nexus circle, Work company circle, business circle, funny jokes circle and tech news circle.
