Not really. At SJU my history concentration was on Africana and African American studies. It's very generic until you have to do your research seminars. Then it becomes a little more interesting.

If you're refering to me, I plan to do two years at community college and apply for grants. Then, I may finish the last two at uni and apply for scholarships and grants because I'm broke.
I just have a 10k loan that I have to pay back. I'm done taking out loans. Also, I plan to get a cert in fitness training too. Just want to major in something I like.

you major in something that you have a solid future plan of actually making a living with..else you might as well learn an actual trade
I like my culture and I think it can open the door for me in some places .

I'm horrible at Math man. I've gotten a little bit better, but I don't wanna risk it.
You can become proficient at it with practice.
But it sounds like you're already discouraged before even opening a book.
Don't pick that major unless it's a precursor to grad school.
The only folk I know that took that major went on to Law / Med / Journalism school for another degree or went and got their Masters then PhD and are now college professors
