Not really. At SJU my history concentration was on Africana and African American studies. It's very generic until you have to do your research seminars. Then it becomes a little more interesting.

Overall, it's not hard at all.

If you're refering to me, I plan to do two years at community college and apply for grants. Then, I may finish the last two at uni and apply for scholarships and grants because I'm broke.

I like my culture and I think it can open the door for me in some places .

Don't pick that major unless it's a precursor to grad school.

The only folk I know that took that major went on to Law / Med / Journalism school for another degree or went and got their Masters then PhD and are now college professors
