visually it was stunning. great soundtrack. not 2 mention its a major film with a minority charecter that is relatable without being a minstrel show.

Easily one of the best superhero movies of all time - particularly on the animated side. I rated it a 10/10 - but it's actually more like a 9.75/10 because of the fact that its only part 1 of 2 and I wasn't prepared when I went to the theatre for that

its not as cohesive as ITSV (which IMO is a 10/10) but its one of the few sequels that takes the first concepts and EXPANDS on everything. We learn more about the multiverse, we learn more about Gwen, Peter B progresses in his life, Miles is thriving as his FNSM, and tonally the movie goes more kid friendly to a solidly PG tone (a lot of slice of life Spider People drama with parents in this one).

Only thing that stops it from being perfect are the fact thats its a part 1 and my major complaint is...the lack of masks. Some hoe ass executive mustve banged the table about Miles, Hobie and Gwen being more recognizeable so their mask needs to be off and I HATE IT.

I hate it enough when Live action actors constantly have their masks off, but i get why they do it. THese are fukkING CARTOONS. THe audience really doesnt need to know what their face looks like and good animation takes care of the emoting and humanizing with the mask on. I swear some exec was really pushing this as Spider Verse grown up and i feel mask off was apart of that direction.

Yeah I was impressed and I was jsut there for my nephew and son could see it. Wasn’t even paying it attention at first but once I started to, it was very good. Probably the best movie I paid to seen this year

It can’t beat when Miles gained his confidence but damn did it get close. Still the best animated series I’ve ever seen

I give the movie an overall 10/10, it was amazing, it’s flaws were minimal to me though.

The music was outstanding, Hummingbird been on repeat for weeks now! There were more bangers on this soundtrack than the last movie.

I didn’t even see the first one and when this movie ended, I knew it was on one of my all time list. Maybe best experience in a theater, most fun watching a movie, best movie. It’s beyond incredible
