Is a body weight routine a waste of time (for maintence)?

Im currently lifting to gain weight (ive been steady since May)...but im going to Vietnam for 3 weeks.

Im trying to figure out wtf I should do while im over there...ill probably be able to get in a gym for a few days...but most of the time im going to be on my own.
Would doing a body weight routine actually help me out...or should I just take the time off?

listen...it's only inferior to weights if you're incapable of thinking outside the box or work hard. Do the following:

pullups and chinups (if you are able to)

dips (you can improvise a dip station with furniture)

90 degree pike press (shoulders and traps)

Do 100 burpees and tell me if its a waste of time for your body, friend. :usure:

I hadnt squatted or deadlifted in MONTHS, id say a good 4 but i was doing my 100 burpees. By the time i started deadlifting i was still doing 300 on squats and dead lifts with barely any soreness the following days. Yesterday i did a 100 lb military press in 3 sets of 8, followed by 45 lb curls combined with arm raise *curl, weight to leg, lift weight over my head = 1 rep x8* followed by 3x8 dips followed by that machine where you push the weight down, i guess it works the same muscles :lol: My warmup 50 burpees. Virtually no soreness.

Burpees friend, they are you friend like a friend,
