Is 2pac’s Can’t C Me the hardest track of all time?

The beat and the energy Pac had mixed in with what he was saying. Definitely up there

"Real nikkas fingers on nickel-plated 9 triggers
Must see my enemies defeated
I catch 'em while they coked up and weeded
Open fire, now them nikkas bleedin'
See me in flesh and test and get your chest blown"

:picard:

DMX Intro is also up there

Surprised nobody mentioned it before me.

I always feel like Holla at me gets left out of these convo's...

Are you confused?
You wonder how it feels to walk a mile inside the shoes
Of a nikka who don't have a thing to loose
When me and you was homies
No one informed me it was all a scheme
You infiltrated my team and sold a nikkas dreams
How could you do me like that?
I took your family in
I put some cash in your pocket
Made you a man again
And now you let the fear put your ass in a place
Complicated to escape, it's a fools fate
Without your word, you're a shell of a man
I lost respect for you nikka
We can never be friends
I know I'm runnin' through your head now
What could you do, if it was up to you
I'd be dead now
I let the world know nikka you a coward
You could never be live until you die
See the mothafukkin' bytch in your eye
Type of nikka, that let the evil of the money trap me
When you see me nikka
You better holla at me (holla at me)
Can't let the evil of the money trap me
So when you see me nikka
You better holla at me

Not to mention the beat n the energy.....

"Holla At Me" is one of my favorite songs/2pac tracks. The paranoia, rawness, anger, it's an overwhelming track.

I don't even like playing "Holla At Me", that often, because like a lot Pac's darkest work, it's consuming in it's desperation and arrogance, it's unnerving, puts me in a dark place, but also, nostalgia. I was listening to All Eyez On Me, the most, in high school, around 2003 and 2004, so it reminds me of those times.

Can't C Me, I love, but I usually only play when I am feeling like I am on top of the world. Again, it reminds me so much of high school, and running around in my boys car, smoking blunts, the ignorance and apathy, but real joy of being very young.

Not much like counting money to Cant C Me, rolling a blunt, and transitioning to "Ratha Be Ya nikka", "Check Out Time", "Thug Passion", headed to a party, or whatever, with some girls in the backseat, and a fifth of alize, remy, all while you're 17.

it's the epitome of the fast life soundtrack, and you look at where Pac was, and where he was 6 months later, it's eerie and triumphant in the same exhale of blunt smoke, and burn of the hennessey.

nate dogg
rage
rbx

alll would have been dope albums

92-93 rbx should have had a album...

rage album should been out 95-96

nate should have been a death album...with daz quik dre even warren...

they let rbx walk...

daz n kurupt ate

rage was the best female rapper out at that time imo..n they shelved her low key because pac thought she was a weak link

rage could eat foxy and kim in her sleep...

she was eatin nikkas at death row....n this pickle headed nikka tombout she a weak link...she shoulda gave his mark ass asthma attack like she gave daz

Looking back there could have been so many classics.

Two big ones we missed out on though

A Kurupt solo from 92/93 - 94 before Dogg Food dropped, we would have all been talking about it now on the same level as we do The Chronic & Doggystyle Imo.

Sam Sneed Solo, he should have been next up after the joint on Murder was the case soundtrack.

No doubt, They were killing it around that time.

Not sure why Suge seemed to have such a dislike for Nate & Warren so much.

Quik should have been way bigger on DR too.

It’s sad how much talent got wasted.

Sam Sneed was fire on production & on the Mic

Hell even J Flexx Who penned all of Dre’s Rhymes could have Put out an album.

DR should have branched out into a whole R&B thing more too, that easy listening Smooth shyt for the females & radio friendly hits would of got bags

I ain't worried about the lyrics here persay but the delivery and emotion was epic.

Was this the first song he did when he came home?
