North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Dunno, It's hard to say. She-Hulk is a comedy that doesn't have a lot of superheroics and action so if a viewer is not feeling the humor, there's nothing the show can really fall back on to compensate.

If Ironheart is more action packed and focuses on RiRi fighting crime and perfecting her suit, episode to episode, then I can't see it being as maligned as heavy as She-Hulk, at least from casual MCU fans. Racist chuds will find something to bytch about like they always do.
She Hulk tries to incorporate pop culture that at times comes off as being unauthentic.

That won’t be the case with Iron Heart for obvious reasons

I think the saving Grace for this is BP2 sets up the character so it this show can kinda speed through alot of things that typically need to get built up in the MCU shows. Wandavision and Loki were able to do this too since we knew the characters.

Ironheart series likely delayed as Disney slows Marvel releases
By Barbara Roche Feb 18, 2023

Disney has applied the brakes on several Marvel releases as it redefines goals and shuffles priorities in content.

Even though the long anticipated new Marvel spinoff series Ironheart wrapped months ago, it is among the list of those that are unlikely to arrive in 2023 as the studio spreads out the release of its lineup.

These changes came on the heals of Bob Iger’s recent comments that the company needs to be “better at curating” franchise content.

“There is going to be a level of rigor on Marvel and across the entire company,” one company insider revealed to The Hollywood Reporter. “Numbers matter now, and costs are going to be outlined and enforced.”

The much anticipated Ironheart series was filmed at its Marvel home-base in Atlanta last summer, with a portion of the series filming in Chicago from October 24 through November 3. Crews were spotted filming on south side neighborhood streets, the near north side and in downtown Chicago.

The Chicago portion is expected to reveal the backstory of main character Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne.) The storyline follows the character Riri, a young black woman from the south side of Chicago. Riri is an MIT engineer with a genius IQ, who builds her own Iron Man armor. We got our first glimpse of the character Riri Williams in two Wakanda Forever trailers as she builds that first suit and gets her technology right.

As Reel Chicago reported earlier, the show was also briefly in Chicago for a few days of filming in early July.

Chicago native Samantha Bailey (Brown Girls, East of La Brea, Dear White People) and Angela Barnes (Atlanta, Blindspotting, Teenage Bounty Hunters.) rotated directing the 12 episodes

So they're gonna sit this on a shelf for a year? Did they not learned from the Black Widow situation?
