Iran guards killed on Pakistan border Masha'Allah

Fourteen Iranian border guards have been killed and five others injured during overnight clashes with gunmen on the frontier with Pakistan, the official IRNA news agency reported.

"Fourteen border guards were killed during armed clashes in the region of Saravan, and five others were wounded," the agency quoted a source as saying, only identifying the gunmen as "bandits or rebels opposed to the Islamic republic".

The report gave no more details on the identity of the people who fought with the border guards.
