iPhone and YouTube

Since today when I click a YouTube link via browser it directs me within the Broswer instead of opening up in YouTube. Anybody facing this problem?

I'm not sure actually, it might have worked well in the year that I bought it (2 years ago). But maybe its always been like this.

Google/YouTube has to re enable the shortcut option for the app. Nothing else can be done.

Only way to do it now is to copy the url and paste it in the app.

Restart your iPhone, that should fix it.

You can also hold click on the YouTube link and press open with YouTube, that should fix it as well.

yeah its opening in the browser for me too but it does have the option to open in app at the top of the screen too

must be something on googles end cause i havent updated my phone
