White privilege doesn’t mean a white person had it easy their whole life and grew up with a golden spoon. But it does mean you get the benefit of the doubt in many cases and less likely to be targeted. A poor white man who grew up in the slums can put on a nice suit cut his hair and walk into a bank and get the benefit of the doubt. Being white gives you a slight advantage.

Hell, a man that is 6’4 probably could do better in dating than a guy who is 5”9. That’s not to say the 5”9 guy can’t develop game or get his money/ personality game up but initially on average I’d say a woman would prefer the taller guy. A man acknowledging his height gives him a slight advantage doesn’t mean he doesn’t have game. It just means although he may have game, his height he didn’t work for gave him an advantage.

I have found with individuals like these they are unreceptive to counter arguments. The way they see things is because they have never encountered such scenarios or because of where they are currently in life that becomes their proof WS doesn’t exist.

The only times they might entertain the idea of WS is if it impacted them directly. For example look at that idiot Jesse Lee Peterson, he was/is of the belief racism doesn’t exist that is until a white Woman was screaming in his face. The guy grew up in Saudi Arabia. He spends time in the above videos claiming that White Supremacy doesn't exist to American cultural figures. He declares in those videos that Donald is "not racist" and "being (ex) loved by rappers" shows that Donald isn't. He refers to the genesis of the term WS - in the USA. He mentioned the Klan (and acted like they were in the past only).

If he were talking specifically about the UK you might have a point but he can see what we can see when it comes to the USA, Donald etc. So Brit or not his conclusions are spurious given the evidence that is available to all. If he stuck to UK themes then maybe he could be cut more slack but if he is going to make statements like that about the USA then he should be judged accordingly.

If he really is so unaware that events in the USA escape him then i. what's going on at Oxford and ii. he should be criticized anyway.
