I hope we can travel through space and get some space battles goong at some parts. I'm very curious how this game develops.

I have a feelings from the description it’s gonna be like Metroid where you’re trapped on this planet ‘Symperia’. Maybe they’ll give us a little set piece ship battle.

also, you can kind of see why they bushed Factions. ND have about 400 employees, they’ve had 250 working on this game since 2020, Druckmann was probably hoping factions was out by early 2023 and they would move onto this game. When they got the review from Bungie they probably told them it needs more work, which means hire more people and keep the remaining people on factions for who knows how long instead of moving them over to Work on this and TLOU3.

when you see the logistics behind development the other stuff makes more sense

Yea I was bummed when they mentioned main character is stranded:francis:The Guardian of the Galaxy game from a few years ago was sort of what I was hoping for, but even more expanded space combat thrown in. Still I'll give the game a chance.

Yeah that would be cool but i don’t think they want to do a linear game again. Being on one planet allows them to kind of go wild wiht a big environment with a lot of mystery

Oh by Guardians I meant hitting different planets up not the linear story part. I'd love a Read Dead 2 type of game with space exploration, ability to go to different planets, have hand to hand or weapon type combat. Just different options and also involve space combat.

Let’s be honest, even if she had long hair and was conventionally pretty like on a red carpet they would still hate on it, just like they did with Forspoken.

  • female protagonist
  • black/mixed but black passing
  • druckmann directing
  • TLOU2
Naughty Dog aren’t new though, they know what to expect from that demo already. As long as the game reviews well and sells well it doesn’t matter. nikkas went just as hard trying to bury TLOU2 after the big leaks in 2020 and it still went on to be wildly successful, which is why they’re still mad lol

Exactly. Ultimately no matter what color/gender you make the character there will be some form of blacklash.. even if you make mc a straight white male, we been complaining about that.

Here's a reality that they like to ignore tho: black males more than hold their own as cash cows in sports, movies, shows, and entertainment... from black NFL/NBA player endorsements to Spider-verse and BP box office to Fallout's streaming numbers... and that same consumer base ("America"... which is majority white) buys video games lol.

...yet only in the gaming industry do certain ppl still perpetuate the notion that if the next Mass Effect had the cover mc lookin like Michael B Jordan or Trevante Rhodes that it'd have an adverse effect on sales
