Insane Leg Pumps

Ive been running 4 miles at least 4 days a week with no issues. Yesterday I get on the treadmill and make it 1/4 a mile before I had to stop. My legs were in excruciating pain, blood vessels bulging everywhere. Today I took taurine and was able to do over my 4 miles but had to break it up. 1 mile, 1.3, then 2. Been reading this is fairly common and was wondering if anyone here ever experienced it.

Im hoping taurine and potassium supplements have me in better shape tomorrow and right by Thursday. Gained 6 lbs since Thursday.:huhldup:

took me 1 week to a 1week and a half to recover. Caused by overtraining.

All I did was stay hydrated, lotion my legs (cause they blew up felt like they were about to pop), and slept with my legs elevated above my heart.

Do you legs retain water?

Can you press on them and it'll leave and indentation?

unless you running for some marathon or cross country shyt, u should find another pattern.

i used to run 5x a week straight and just take the weekend off. i switched it up and now i'll do 2 on 1 off one week, then the next week 1 on 2 off.
