Yes. We live (and as more countries develop with modern technology and infrastructure) in a "modern/high tech" society that has allowed us to accomplish things im-fuucking-possible 100 years ago. Clearly, a lot of technology hasn't seen the light of day.......as they would be .... disruptive ... although they would likely take us as human beings to even more amazing heights of human development and potential.
The point is this.......our world takes natural resources, creates chemicals, which creates products/infrastructure. These industrial processes and the output of some of these products/infrastructure is NOT ALWAYS RECYCLABLE OR CAN BE USED FOR OTHER PURPOSES, AND MORE THAN LIKELY ARE TOXIC AS ALL HELL. We combine chemicals that weren't naturally combined and they react in all kinds of ways that are toxic to humans, plants, and animals.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU TOOK THAT ECONOMICS CLASS AND THE PROFESSOR TALKS ABOUT EXTERNALITIES ......
A. Ocasionally regulations may require a company/industry to competently dispose of the waste, and
B. Sometimes there is no regulation for how to deal with waste, and sometimes.....................................
C. Regulations allow waste to be used for other purposes, although its actually toxic to humans, animals, plants with its new use ............................ true story(ies)
SO THIS IS ABOUT INDUSTRIAL WASTE...................... WHAT HAPPENS TO THE WASTE OF OUR SOCIETY.????
