For starters, I said 12 instead of 10 because I want you to reserve two spots on each list for female wrestlers.
This isn't necessarily who is selling the most merch or the most tickets. When you consider the wrestler who gets a spot on your list please balance your consideration by: how popular they are in the mainstream, how popular do you think they can one day become, and also if you like them personally as a wrestler.
Some rules:
-For AEW, it's fine to include a wrestler from their YouTube shows that may not necessarily be the best yet, but you can see getting there one day.
-For WWE, you of course will consider NXT UK talent as well.
-You can't put Daniel Bryan (or Bryan
Danielson) on your AEW list because he's not there yet, and we're not sure if he'll ever get there (card is subject to change). You can't put him on your WWE list either though.
-You can't put Goldberg or Cena on your list, because they are truly just part-timers now. You can put Brock Lesnar on your list since he's here now and will be around for at least a few more months it seems. You can obviously put Edge on your list as well since he's been around long enough during this last year.
-You can put a wrestler that's injured or hasn't been seen in a while, as long as there aren't any rumors that they've been fired (for ex. Xia Li, Humberto Carrillo, Aliyah, Sonny Kiss?, Bayley, etc.). You can put Thunderosa on your AEW list
-Technically, you can put Paul Wight on your list because he's about to be in in-ring action, but you can't put Mark Henry or Chavo on your list because there's no indication yet that they'll be fighting anytime soon.
I'm just trying to see who the Wrestling Gods would pick if given a choice of the 12 best from WWE or the 12 best from AEW.
