I was thinking about this last night.

Wake up, bump music, get dressed
Hop in the whip, bump music
Get out the whip, in public, talk to people
Get back in the whip, drive home, bump music
Get home, watch TV, deal with family
Lay down in bed, fall asleep to the tv

This isn't necessarily my daily routine, I read, write, but what I'm really lacking is some thinking time, although I get a bit of it when I'm reading and writing.

Do you ever feel like there's too many external influences filling your mind and intruding your thoughts before you even have a chance of dealing with your personal thoughts?

Lol likewise. Do you think it helps you cope with things?
I'm not sure cope is the word I'd use.
I mean there's this false notion that introverts are shy and antisocial. It's more that I need my personal space and time to decompress and recharge. Being around lots of people/noise/stimulation tends to wear me down. I wouldn't call it "coping" but I suppose that's close enough.

yes about 6-8 hours a day

tbh i gotta have that time, it helps keep you grounded as a person. I read this chapter from a book for school last night, talkin bout how ppl in western societies are decaying mentally/morally, because their always focused on the cultural (aka friends job social status) part of their life, instead of spending more time focused on learning ones own nature, as well as the nature of the universe. Too much exposure to the fabricated reality that are our 'lives' drives a sane human into a unnatural being only interested in materialism and status. Spending time alone allows you to explore more of life and nature through reflection and spending time with only your soul. Thats why i am one of the few people who see life from a natural perspective, the river that is life, time, the universe, that simultaneously flows onward yet in a giant cycle. No need for stress, the best medicine is time, dont rush but experience every moment of life instead of having your mind preoccupied with concerns.

I used the term 'cope' for no reason, maybe because I use my alone time to cope with the overloaded strain that is placed upon my mind when dealing with others.

No, I know what you mean as an introvert it doesn't mean what they make it out to be.

I try to sneak some alone time in before and after work. And dont even bring up the weekend--can't lie down on the couch or bed.

I think they do, I think they're caught up in the whole scene, with several influences flying around and affecting them, it's crazy; we're all individuals and we're all influenced by people and things, but many of these people; their thoughts aren't even theirs, and the image that they portray has been stripped from another. Can you imagine the stress the brain goes through trying to be something that it's not? For fukk sake.

On the other hand don't try to go and float your boat, you're not one of the only few people that view life from that perspective.

I get my alone time in no matter what but it always good to have a place when your mind can just rest and go whenever it wants.

It keeps me grounded and its needed especially in a city like Atlanta

You're not being realistic, you're being self indulgent.
