I just re-watched it the other day and everything the scientist told him at the beginning about how his dream was going to be like, ended up happening. The assistant even showed him the alien artifacts that was going to save the planet.

I've watched this ho like 15 times probably and I still don't know. But it's dope as fukk regardless. It's so violent too. I miss that era of action where no fukks were given

That plus if she was a working prostitute on mars her picture would circulate as advertisement so Recall could have got it that way. Also the scene after he freaks out as Howser and they put him to sleep at Recall they have a conversation saying that they never got a chance to implant the fake memory. Quaid isn't in the room and would have heard it so if he was dreaming why add that scene?

I'm drunk so if this doesnt make sense pay me no mind.
