The Wire...aside from Omar everything else in The Wire was pretty grounded.
House of Cards is pure fantasy. Its great fantasy but still pretty farfetched.

the church deacon that appeared in some of the episodes was the real life (reformed) inspiration for avon barksdale.

because despite what people say who need to validate how "real" they are by pointing out how "real" some TV shows are...

TV doesn't have to be "realistic" to be entertaining.

Imagine watching Game of Thrones and being like " this shyt don't happen in real life! I can't watch this shyt!"
