fukk you for questioning the wire, that shyt was more realistic then any "reality" show on TV today

a lot of the characters on the wire were based on real people or composites of a couple people.

Add the fact that some were authentic street cats mixed in with the actors... There was never a question here :heh:
and some of the fictional characters were based on the authentic street cats they had in the show.

the church deacon that appeared in some of the episodes was the real life (reformed) inspiration for avon barksdale. :blessed:

because despite what people say who need to validate how "real" they are by pointing out how "real" some TV shows are...

TV doesn't have to be "realistic" to be entertaining.

Imagine watching Game of Thrones and being like ":heh: this shyt don't happen in real life! I can't watch this shyt!"
