So I'll start by saying that I'm a doctor who specializes in the fertility field.
I receive a lot of couples but I never had a case like this one before .
I had this couple come in about a month ago , husband in his early 40s ..wife in her mid 30s. Just one of many cases I get daily.
They been trying to have a child for a good while now , and no success so they finally caved in and decided to come see me. You
could tell the wife was the one looking forward to being a parent the most , she was getting all watery-eyed talkin bout her biological clock.
So my go-to is to run a full health check on the couple to see if one of them happens to be unable to have kids. That day I was short-staffed so
I first send the wife to get her bloodwork done. I get to talking to the guy , he from the east coast but travels to the west coast often , talking bout
how A-plus is his favorite rapper . Yadda yadda yadda.
anyways, I tell them ill give them a call once I get the results.
I got the results this morning and It left me flabbergasted. The husband is not only infertile , but even had more estrogen than his wife !
anyways , I give them a call to tell schedule another visit when his husband interrupts me on some
"No need doc , We just found out we going to be parents!, no need for a follow-up."
The reality of becoming a dad must have overwhelmed him because I have never heard a man this happy before.
I just didn't have it in me to tell him the truth.
he looks similar to this dude , so I kind of picture him with that big ol smile and all.
