IMO when you stop trying to get "big" you gain more.

in my early 20's i wanted to be the biggest and was a decent size but was sloppy looking back. other than big traps and chest i wasnt shyt. i dont do that anymore and im more rounded and know more about this lifting shyt and am better

now all i do is calisthenics and have never been better. sure i use weights for curls and shyt but dips, multi grip pulls ups and other exercises will let you eat good with good genetics.

all i wanna do now is keep a decent size and look cut. IMO its far easier this route.

really what is the point of being the biggest guy? i have multiple friends like this and i dont see the effort is worth it anymore. the leaner look is healthier and better for women. the only thing the biggest guy does where im from is get you into bar fights. lean guys dont fight here unless your a drunk prick its always big guys throwing slugs regretting it with charges or headaches in the morning. im not allowed at a great bar because a few years ago i swung on some guy because i knew i had weight on him....im a fakkit for that

i focused on getting lean and learning better core work. i could be happier

Youre trolling
no....i used to eat more and lift differently to try get bigger in my mind. as soon as i said i wanna be lean, cut with size i changed my routine to mostly body weight and an attitude goes a long way....

i have decent genetics....i work out with body weight i can see results. im in the best shape of my life since i realized lifting wrong and eating big was wrong

What works for you doesnt necessarily work for everybody. I started making gains when I started to eat more. I'm not happy about the increased body fat but that's temporary. Plus I just enjoy lifting heavy things. I do think for most people trying to get big ------> making gains; the problem is people often don't go about it the right way.

The problem is people use 'bulking' as an excuse to acquire fat instead of muscle. If they followed a strict diet and training regime designed for their goals then they would succeed. Instead people follow a less strict diet plan and therefore don't make the gains.
