Anyone seen it yet? The new Russell Crowe movie?
I saw it...its good if you know the story...well made...the second half drags on a bit but it was a good flick
I'd give a it a B to B-
Everybody who saw that says it sucks, i know i wouldn't waste my time watching that movie
Why?
Everybody who saw that says it sucks, i know i wouldn't waste my time watching that movie
but do you playa
They kind of go "lord of the rings" with it but its a film so..ya knowNice. And yeah, I do know the story. I come from a Catholic country so everyone that knows anything about Christianity in general knows about the story of Noah. I'm interested to see how they spin it, that's why I'm going.

Saw it with my girl and fairly enjoyed it. I heard a lot of people who weren't feeling it was cuz they went in expecting it to be a perfect adaption of the biblical story. You gotta go in watching the movie with a mindset that it's loosely based on the story with extra stuff added in.
How long is it?
Noah. Huh. Interesting movie. Really interesting. Hit or miss in some of the things it tries to pull off dramatically, but gorgeously filmed and genuinely harrowing for some scenes. The creation scene and the scene where God is growing the forest are both superb.
Some of the performances are pretty blahh. Especially a few Jennifer Connelly scenes and Emma Watson scenes. And Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah was more like MEH-thuselah..heh...uh anyway.
But that's all good because Russell Crowe kills it if I'm gonna be completely honest. The entire character arc of Noah is brilliant. I loved watching him go from humble vegetarian, foraging the land for only what him and his family need and leaving God's world as untarnished as he could to essentially, towards the end of the movie, being the full on antagonist, trundling through the Ark on a sinister mission to carry out the creator's demands by any means possible.
I think I'll probably watch it anyway. I got nothing better to do tomorrow evening anyway.
