The scene after this :wow::mjcry:

It reminded me of a scene in The Wrestler where he was listening to music and reminiscing.

It wasn't that the music was great, but it reminded him of a time when it seemed like he was on top of the world.

The same with Lenny.

Sometimes I hear songs from years's ago and think of the younger days when you didn't have a care in the world :wow:

I honestly believe dude would've never been more than a Sebastian Telfair had he made it to the league. He just didn't strike me as a hard worker, just a guy coasting on natural ability.
Yea that was clear as day.

Telfair's another one that got sucked into the hype. Granted he's had (and is still having) a productive career, but Telfair wanted to go to Louisville to do time there but he had too many people telling him otherwise. They chose a night at the 40/40 Club on Draft Night over the bigger picture.

Would that have been a good move for Telfair? I mean would Louisville have helped him be a better NBA player or would it have exposed him as hype and he never make it to the league?

if it would have helped him finish at the basket better he woulda been fine because that's the only reason why he's not in the league. He could pass and he could be a good floor general, but his height and finishing ability always meant he was gonna be a backup.

Him and Rondo were both from the 04 class. Rondo spent two years at Kentucky and instead of Telfair battling him he went to Portland.

I remember during summer league the year Rondo entered the league that people were saying he was better than Telfair :patrice:

The Celtics had just traded for him, but also drafted Rondo in the 1st round. Wouldn't have guessed Rondo would be better at that time.

I think Lenny could have had a better career than Telfair though. I think he could have been somewhere between JR Smith and Gerald Green. :yeshrug:

i dont see how a year in college would have changed anything for him in the nba. the nba has better trainers, coaches, and basketball is a full time job unlike college where you also have schoolwork. telfair just is what he is....he could never be a star in the league. he did well to make it pro and stay around.
