The first series was the best...by far. After that it began to lose all sense of mystery and tension.
so if that's how you feel about it do not waste your time on the rest. Don't do it 
Second Season had some of the best endings in awhile...the set up to those origin stories were great
hmmmm...Season 1 is the most critically acclaimed season of "Lost", but Seasons 3 & 4 are my two personal favorite seasons.
Lost is a great show. people just let their expectations get away from them. if you can watch it and just enjoy it for what they show you and not analyze it or ask too many questions its a great watch.
keep in mind no matter what anybody else tells you to a certain extent they were making that shyt up as they went along. when you're ad libbing a series and it reaches its end you have to start explaining shyt that may have been going on for seasons. the answers you're forced to make up on the spot probably won't satisfy everyone and that's what happened with Lost.

Yeah, that's why I gave up. I noticed my questions pile kept getting higher and higher and I wasn't about to wait for the next season to answer them.
I have a homie who watched it all the way through and after it's series finale he realized it was a colossal waste of time.
