I’m watching Homeland for the first time

I know I’m extremely late but I’ve made it to season 3 and Dana is the most horrendous character I’ve ever had the misfortune of witnessing. My reaction to characters strongly hated on popular shows like Lori, Skylar, the Soprano kids, etc. is usually pretty mild or more understanding than most most people but Dana is incomprehensibly whiney and pointless. She’s moping and crying in every scene and I’m wondering why I’m supposed to give a shyt about anting going on with her.


Annoying face, annoying speech patterns, annoying facial expressions, annoying plot lines, just a 0/10 character

Also, why the fukk is a teenage girl’s sexual escapades a major plot line in a CIA thriller/drama. It doesn’t even have a connection to the main plot.

I just started watching this too. I agree that this Dana is a miserable little c*nt and top ten of the WOAT child characters. She should have had the taste slapped out her mouth from season one. The only one who even stood up to her was her mother's side dude.

This other storyline with the Venezuelans holding dude captive is beyond boring now.

The show was cool even after the Brodie shyt (which they could’ve EASILY taken the season 1 premise and stretched it for like 4 seasons)

But Carrie getting 1000 chances despite being a bi-polar train wreck is some of the most unrealistic shyt in TV history. They made it seem like she had the skills of Mr Robot with the processing power of Data from Star Trek TNG and they simply couldn’t turn their backs on her.

Meanwhile this chick has a baby from a dude committing blatant treason, she gets to stay at the CIA and has no issue ordering drone strikes in the Middle East. Just ridiculous.
