I'm at work and my co-worker is watching soccer on his iPad. Last week, my nephew asked to use my Disney Plus account so he can watch the soccer game. And he's not a sports guy at all. Just anime and PS5. Makes me wonder in 20 years if this will be bigger then the sports I grew up on (in the black community not world wide).

Heck people even use bottles, crumpled garbage and anything they can get their hands on to make soccer balls. Shoes, stones and bags could be nets.

I think once the right people make soccer cool like LeBron, Micheal B Jordan, yo gotti, and Mahomes are all part owners of teams, you'll see a huge shift.

Your daughter is probably playing at a highly competitive level on a travel team. I'm just talking about playing.

The pay-to-play system is ass, we do the same thing in Canada. But I'll see you see a change in the system when schools can find a way to make bread to off the players and popularity - 2026 world cup should really change things if Can/US relatively do decently.

It's gonna happen sooner or later, soccer is blowing up in North America. Here Hockey is still king but kids starting to play more soccer because of the cost, most families can't afford it.
