This is very true. I’m still puzzled why the Hurt Buisness stuff had to end . And now he’s a 24/7 geek
there’s levels to how dumb that Hurt Biz breakup was
first off it was dumb as hell to break the group up period
second the way Shelton and Ced got treated like scrubs after was dumb as hell too, they spent months building up the group/storyline by having MVP trying to recruit people and if they were gonna break up it should’ve been a blood feud between Lashley and Shelton ending with a PPV title match instead of some throwaway match on Raw

I remember weeks after he came back with Chad Gable, he had an amazing match with Jeff and he looked just like the gold standard. And after the match I knew it wouldn’t mean shyt because they made up their mind on Shelton. He had years left in him just like Lashley
Sucks he never got a fair shake. But a lot of people got short-ended back then.
