I was kinda on the fence about Better Call Saul since it was only a prequel

but now that its been announced that its been announced that it will occur before during AND after Breaking bad I am

Even though they didn't officially announce that until recently I always assumed it was the case. "Breaking Bad" moved around time lines fairly often.

Gus is definitely going to be in the show. I thought that was confirmed. And it makes sense because they want Jessie to make some "guest appearances"

Didn't he know Saul?

I'm sure he knew who Saul was, but Saul never knew him. He had to use Mike to set up the meeting with Walt, and even then he had no idea who he was, or his name.

So I assume Mike is in this series to keep track of Saul, for Gus.

I'm only interested in seeing this show for Saul because he was a great character. Personally I hope they don't do all these Breaking Bad cameos. That show ended and people should just move on.
