I like the sample. Find some other parts of the sample you can play with so you can switch it up. Add a bassline or a kick that can add that extra "boom" to that track. Add something for mids and the low, the main melody is there. Hope that helps.

This beat is dope, but the tempo seems too slow for a K-Dot type. Most of his beats use Jazz samples.

pretty dope, not trying to hate but Charles Hamilton flipped that sample pretty similarly, i think i like his drums a little better than yours..i used to bump that track every now and then.
