I’m being more and more hopeful…I almost gave up on this season

last year 17th in defensive rating, this year 4th. crazy thing is the only net negative lineup of their most used 15 lineups on the season with all currently active clippers is the starting lineup they used last night. im not a big fan of that lineup because i think youre sacrificing too much size having kawhi is your only true forward on the floor. post trades 5 of the top 9 clippers in minutes is shooting at least 39% from 3, thats as good as any team in the league. so the defense is there and the firepower is there.

JVG deserves a ton of credit. But also bringing in Dunn, DJJ, and Simmons somewhat has been tremendous for this team defensively.

14th consecutive winning season by the team. Tied for fourth all time. I remember some dark days as a kid growing up watching this team.
If Brian Shaw was coach would he have started Kawhi today?
The Cavs game is clearly the more difficult game. Clippers would have a better chance beating Orlando without Kawhi on a back to back then beating Cleveland without Kawhi.

its definitely the conservative call, that playing kawhi against cleveland isnt worth the risk of losing both. never know with the way cleveland has been playing lately maybe theyll pull it off without kawhi.

I like our chances of avoiding the play-in…we got a pretty soft schedule the rest of the way and we have the tiebreaker against the warriors and the grizzlies schedule is brutal especially after they fired their coach 
Memphis is sinking fast. Gotta get that 5th or 6th seed. I don't want no parts of the play in. Good win tonight, although ugly. Must win against New Orleans on Wednesday. They shut down Zion and CJ for the season so no excuses.
