My thoughts exactly. They need shooting and also someone who can make their own offense in a jam
It was like pulling teeth watching Mann, KPJ, Dunn, Batum, and at times Coffey trying to score on that second unit. Not sure what Atlanta is doing actually. I wonder does Bones get some minutes with them?

If Bones and Porter get to chuck they can have some success I think.

Mixed on seeing Mann go but of all the young guys we've had he's had more chances than anyone and just couldn't make it work.

Don't know shyt about Beauchamp but Bogdan has looked cooked. Hopefully a change of scenery will help him.

Just an old semi washed team basically. No athletes outside of Derrick Jones Jr. L. Frank said the top priority was to get younger and more athletic but as usual we've done the opposite.

Why can't we have nice things for once. Taliban Ty Lue and Lawrence Frank gotta go. You can get away with missing out on prospects back in the day but not now with our lack of draft capital, aging depleted rosters, and new CBA and its aprons. I think the front office is completely lost and clueless right now. Moussa would've been the perfect backup to Zu this season and now we're on our third back up big in Eubanks. Make it make sense. :unimpressed:

I saw the game and I was actually going to @ you but forgot

Here’s the thing…The NBA is all about timing, opportunity & where that opportunity comes from

There’s no stakes playing in Charlotte so the kid doesn’t have to worry about pressure & expectations. He didn’t look like much during his time in LA

Somebody like Hartenstein? Oh definitely
He rebounded, passed well and hit that floater. It was evident he was asset

Some of the nikkax you champion like Boston, Bones & this African kid didn’t show much aside from Boston on occasions

Frank brought Batum in when he was DOA some years back
Frank got the last gasp out of Reggie Jackson
Frank signed Coffey who worked himself into a rotation level wing
Frank refused to max PG and Norm has looked possibly better than he ever has while in LA
Frank brought in Dunn & DJJ and that reflects in the team being #2 in defense

Ultimately what are you looking for? Every signing won’t hit nor every draft pick but this team has enough to compete for a title

The lethargic approach has nothing to do with anyone but the players themselves

Two weeks ago this team was primed to get home court now they are a play in team with a streaking Lakers & Wolves passing them by and from the looks of it ground won’t be made especially with this tough east coast trip coming up

This boils down to Kawhi not being what you need him to be

I definitely agree with timing, fit, and just so happening to fall into the right place at the right time. And you know I was on the keep BBJ and Moussa at least one more year especially since PG, Westbrook, and Plumlee left. That was reason number one. The second is because these picks, outside of a Luka, Wemby, etc., takes 2-3 years before you know what's what on them. Even the top lottery picks like Antman, Cade, etc. take 2-3 years to become "those guys" if they even pan out. I've given a pass on BBJ being let go, but this is inexcusable. We saw Moussa's motor, hustle, athleticism, and rebounding ability last season and yes he wasn't playing over Plumlee and Zu, Zu being the starter. I'm just saying this was going to be the year if BBJ and Moussa pan out.. and they're panning out but on different teams. Bad teams but the competition is real. Seen Moussa go head up with Giannis, Jokic, Zu, Gafford, Wemby, etc. and still held his own.

Lawrence Frank said the focus was winning getting younger and more athletic as a team in the offseason. We're older and slower than ever now. In years past they could get away with missing out on a prospect, but not now with our non existent draft capital, aging roster, and the new CBA and its aprons. Any prospect with a sliver of potiential has to be explored, poked and prodded with this current state that the team is in. They kicked Moussa to the curb to try and "unlock" vagabond Mo Bamba, he didn't even last till all star break and is currently out of the league. Kai Jones probably won't sniff the main team for the rest of the season, and now were on our 3rd back up big in Eubanks. Lue gave KPJ the longest leash in the history of man to play though mistakes and turn the ball over every other possession and now he's out. Moussa, BBJ and now Kobe, Miller, Cam Christie, Trentyn Flowers, Kai Jones, etc. can't get even get a 3-5 game leash to see what they truely have to offer. But KPJ got like 40 games.

Now Harden is old, slow, exhausted. I don't know if Kawhi needs more games to shake off the rust or he's actually in the downward spiral part of his career. Dunn can't shoot and Batum is washed. Now we're hoping Bogban still has something in the tank. If he's washed we're screwed. Mann gone, KPJ gone, Bones is gone. We acquired 38 year old Patty Mills with Eubanks, great job! Other teams are the beneficiaries of our G League Clippers, not us. This team is f*cking mess right now. They have the "umbrella plan" of having open cap space in '26-'27, no trading of draft picks, and letting contracts expire, but the day to day plan is throwing shyt against the wall and seeing what sticks. Gotta develop players period. Nobody is going to save us in '26-'27. If there's a notabaly free agent they'll be hand devlivered to the Lakers on a silver platter. We can't miss out on players anymore. It is what it is. -end of rant

Breaking News! Not sure how this plays out. We need shooters in worst way possible, but Ben doesn't shoot. Run him at point to give Harden a breather.
