Unless you've blown out your acl or mcl or whatever seriously, fukk that shyt. Its totally pussified and even if youre sweating, i dont even buy that its a legit workout. You get 10x the workout on a treadmill, and even that is nerfed compared to running outdoors or sprinting.

If you hit the eliptical, you're either a super duper beginner and learning what working out is like (which is fine) or you're a pussie. You perfer the eliptical because its easier. I cant even imagine improving cardiovascular condition on an eliptical. Stationary bikes even >>>>>>> eliptical.

I never like to be this guy, cause i'm not pushin plates like some of yall, but yo there is no excuse besides injury for the fukkin eliptical machines.

They're the only form of cardio that I can do right now.

Cycling irritates my sciatic nerve and running fukks up my ankle. :sadcam:

I'm just gonna take it there, Stairmasters, Ellipticals, AND Treadmills are for pussies. Thyere boring as fukk and you can just ride a bike outside or run outside. Especially since its summer. Who wants to run on a treadmill in the summer?

I literally run TO the gym, lift, and run back...fukk a treadmill when warm and dry..I don't get it.

I hear you but running in a city, which has hills and different terrain is infinitely better...just run up and down hills and that works your body in a more practical manner


Ask yourself why you originally chose the eliptical over other forms of excersize and you'll know I'm right.

neither running or elliptical is going to compare to pylometrics and HIIT in terms of functional improvement but for the goal of maintaining lifts yet adding cardio elliptical >> running

try running regularly after heavy squats, youll learn to love that machine :mjpls:

The bolded. Sometimes my legs are so wrecked, walking up the stairs to do cardio is a workout.

I tore my ACL/MCL/meniscus and had 2 knee surgeries, and can easily go hard on an elliptical for an hour-plus. For people with serious leg injuries it's a great low-risk way to get a lot of cardio in. Stationary bikes as well.
