Freedom of opinion breeds manipulation and control. Reporting news is one thing, but the press shouldn’t be allowed to give opinions and make accusations/statements without any factual news to back it up.

Obviously, Fox News is a prime example of this. But social media platforms make it 10 times worse.

All cable news outlets operate with some form of bias with the exception of maybe PBS. They put money and ratings over simply education people on facts.

Then you have shows like The View and similar shows that act as a conduit/filter and they not only put their own spin on it, but they don’t even know important details on subject matters.
