Iggy Azalea Very Disappointed Label Won’t Release Any More Singles

It’s not been a pleasant few months for Iggy Azalea. Throughout the rollout of her new album, she’s suffered barbs at the hands of Halsey, a verifiably bad track or two, and now this: Azalea says that Def Jam CEO Steve Bartels refuses to release any more singles from her sophomore record. This means the news of Iggy collaborating with homonymous problematic cohort Azealia Banks puts a limp punctuation mark on this stage of Iggy’s second record.

Azalea revealed the news through a series of tweets Saturday morning, July 8. She said she was “very disappointed” with the rollout of the record, but it wouldn’t deter her from plowing forward with her career. She even assured fans a third album is planned.

Have your career end at 2014 brehs :russ:

This myth that it's easier for white artists ain't true on every level.

None of them end up having staying power. Being white doesn't guarantee you some loyal fanbase

It works if you actually got something about you though (Em)
Yeah Em was actually skilled and grew up around black people, and had a very interesting life story

@WickedGames The only reason why it seems that it is not easier for white artist is because the white artist who are chosen don't necessarily deserve their spot in the first place. When people talk about white artists (especially in rap) they are talking about the fact that they got more of a push than the black artist that in many cases has more talent.
