1. You spent the majority of your life hearing that planes were a form of science fiction.

2. When you were a young adult, film just started becoming a thing.

3. Electricity was not wide spread and it was normal to not see it being used for anything in certain places.

Then when you were in your 80s you saw a man walk on the moon sitting at home while watching it on a television while drinking a cold beverage from a fridge.

The mysterious and powerful Chinese empire that existed for thousands of years was gone.

Countries like Prussia and austria-hungary disappeared. Africa went from being controlled by white Europeans as basically an outpost to extract resources from, to countries with their own leaders and new names. Just like Prussia disappeared, you had to get used to calling the gold coast "Ghana".

How would that be ducktales? Harry S Truman was born in 1884 and died in 1972.

He was old enough to live through both world wars, and watched Russia go from a monarchy, to a democracy, right back to a new form of monarchy (Soviet style "communism")

He went from not knowing what a television was, to owning one in his own home. He went from seeing phones as a strange new thing that not everyone had, to something everyone needed to have.

My nikka relax. That was just a joke about the moon landing being fake. Yes we can all agree if you live long enough you will see tremendous change in the world. Hell I've seen tremendous change at 38 years old.
