If you were a wrestler, would you be a backstage politician?

What say you?

:yeshrug: Pretty straightforward question

I probably would, not on the level of a Hogan or as harsh as the Kliq but most popular superstars (with the exception of the Rock from what I can tell) seem to gain some backstage pull and autonomy over what they want for their character/career. It's a dog eat dog world and the wrestling business magnifies that quality.

You either make friends or make money. You can do both but one would be more important to you.

It would seem like i would pretty much have to in order to be a star. What major wrestling star didn't have a little pull backstage.

Without hesitation. You don't get ahead by being a nice guy in wrestling. Just look at Edge, fukked his best friend's girl got him fired and then said nothing when WWE jobbed him out to him. (Or just nodded his head and implied he was cool with it)

No one wants to be that Hardy, Janetty, or any of the other iconic losers of wrestling.

I'd rather be considered overrated by the smarks with dozens of championships than a joke.
