right now, i'm going through a death in the family, and it was someone close, and while there were times we never saw eye to eye, i really miss this person and i regret not telling this person that i actually do love them ..

feelings and expressions is all we've got as a human being, but we've been blinded by capitalism and the "yolo" lifestyle...

I share the same sentiments. I went through something similar. I had an argument with my best friend who's been gone for 9 yrs. It resulted in us almost coming to blows. We both were hanging around the wrong crowd at that time, I was one foot in and out while he was just in it. I just wanted him to chill out a bit because he's getting into about a little everything. He didn't like what I said and it almost got physical between us. He died 3 days later. We went from enjoying ourselves that day to almost fighting. When I told him to get the fukk out that was last time I saw him. It was hard for me to even go to his funeral because I couldn't face it. It took me until 3 years ago to finally go to his grave site. I vowed from that to show love even if it's not returned. Even now with the kids I mentor, I relate to them better because I don't judge and they sense I don't. I just wish he knew I loved him though before he left.
