Excellent writing and pace. Some stunning visuals as well. More sci-fi than horror but one of the better Korean series in a long time. Story idea was cool as well as the ending. Director of I Saw the Devil directed this and one of the stars of The Man From Nowhere is also in this (one of the cops) as well as one of the stars of Parasites has the main lead.

I’m checking out the first episode now-
Like I don’t have a million other things to do, But why do right now for when I can put off later?? Procrastination and Adhd season - it be like that sometimes and like that it be.
:blessed:
You won't regret it. It gets way easier to understand. Plus it's only 6 episodes so no real long-term commitment. The ending of episode 2 got me hooked.

Thx. I like the story so far. I read in the review that ep 2 is where they start introducing more of the horror elements, (which I’ll pick back up on watching later tonight)- the graphic art abd dream sequences are amazing. It’s like an AMSR which puts me in a zone that I keep missing out reading the subtitles. Then I have to rewind to actual read what the characters are saying, that’s the only reason why I was getting confused, focusing on the colors and background tones all awestruck, in the show like a little kid at a crayola factory

SANS-spoilers ... Let's us know what you thought of the series as a whole once you've seen it in it's entirety ... whenever that is!

I read this and now I’m interested. Damn, gotta add it to the pile.
You have to really pay attention to this series- there are soooooo many twists and turns. Make sure to watch when you don’t have distractions. I’m only on episode 3 and there are like 5 different unexpected twists already.
It’s like elements of The Invisible Man + Sixth Sense + Frankenstein + Replica + Dr. Sleep + Humans + Dead Zone :popcorn3:

So… what is it about
:mjtf:
The trailer is right there. Nothing lazier than people who don’t read comments or use their brain before they ask a question like this. :palm: :
Apple’s Dr. Brain is a bold, genre-bending thriller

“After brain scientist Sewon's family falls victim to a mysterious accident, he goes to great lengths to solve the mystery by conducting `brain syncs' with the dead to access their memories for clues.”

Dr. Brain is a genre-bending piece of work, dancing between crime thriller, science fiction, and, most poignantly, a family drama. The series’ best work is in its portrait of grief, sketching Dr. Koh’s private moments as ones of anguish and gradual reckoning with his own flaws and missteps. There is a saying in academia that all research is in some part autobiographical and this rings true for Dr. Koh. His “brain sync” research becomes both a form of mourning and a type of searching, as he realizes that there is something more sinister behind the tragedies.

TL/DR: it’s like the Korean version of “Inception” but a horror movie.
