If you had an old broken house would you repair or keep all the money to yourself?

Would you care about making your house look good and modern or just leave most of the problems and just make it livable so you can live rent and mortgage free?

cuz if u remodel everything it will be like buying a new house and more...and that defeats the benefits of owning a home

if ur comfortable in it then bump fixing it up......

when u need somewhere to take a chick get a hotel for the night or go to her crib

dont spend money when u dont have to homie.......

if anything, fix the crib up one room at a time at ur own pace............then when ur finished move into another spot, rent the spot ur in now out and have it making money for u......

fix that house to the point that someone else could live in it, legally (ha!). just in case you need to dip out, you can at least charge rent. or pay/make a deal with the tenants to fix it up. bottom line, part of being a homeowner is maintence. get skilled, schooled, or hire help and make the most of that house. property is always an investment.

Yeah but if you don't fix it up then eventually it will become rundown to the point of being unable to live in at all. Every house needs upkeep. A somewhat liveable house today will be falling down in 5 to 10 years if its not maintained.
