nikkas ALWAYS gotta find something to bytch about when it comes to black entertainment.


Power was a average ass show, ok writing, unrealistic EVERYTHING, but fast paced and entertaining.

Not comparing, but Breaking Bad, first season is easily the slowest and least "ENTERTAINING" of all the GOAT level shows. Nothing happened. Very few moments of energy and excitement. Still was entertaining to a nikka like me, who appreciates the story building.

So you nikkas can literally sit up here and tell me that each storyline in RK ain't interesting? Can you call anyone a bad actor right now (Epps partner is trash lol)? Van you complain about shyt being too over the top?

But to your point...I consider all the shows in the Power TV Universe to just be night-time soap operas which lessens my expectations of them as far as being considered "Prestige Television".

They are just pop entertainment and I am completely entertained by Raising Kanan just like I was entertained by Power.

The nonsense with the shows I tend to overlook because even the nonsense that beggars belief is usually entertaining as fukk.

That Ghost show is absolute bullshyt though because they built it around that sleepy looking, mumble mouthed non-acting kid and I tossed that shyt in the bushes after ep 2 and aint been back since.
