If You Could Erase Just 3 Movies/Shows, Along With Its “Lore” From The MCU, What Would They Be?

For Me

The Eternals - Dull characters with a dull story that raises more questions than it answers, the overall premise of their existence is messy, and we are probably never going to see these characters again, which will feel weird considering how important their history is apparently supposed to be to the timelines history, not to mention Harry Styles as Thano’s brother for some reason which again we will prob never see again

Secret Invasion - I Have no idea how they are supposed to backtrack Emilia Clarkes nothing character somehow being the most powerful “non-celestial” being in the entire MCU all of a sudden without it just looking like a poorly written “just because” Nerf because they don’t know what else to do, either that or again…she’ll just disappear all together, which again is just weird/messy, also, unless Feige has walked it back and I missed it, but Rodey apparently being a skrull since Civil War, undoing everything he did in Infinity War/End Game is one of the worst decisions the MCU ever made

She Hulk - Corny all round and adds absolutely nothing, Hulks Son looked lame, Matt Looked lame, Banner looked even more lame, and the K.E.V.I.N finale was cringey as fukk

Quantumania was nearly my third choice, as obviously that plot will be going nowhere now due to Kang/Majors, not to mention him being beaten by Ants, but they can at least somewhat wrap that up with Doom so I’ll hold out to see what they do with that before writing it off.

Quantumania: Scott making it out of QM alive ruins the movie, could have taken elements from that movie to use elsewhere.

Black Widow: Yelena could have been introduced in Hawkeye and had the backstory fleshed out in a Red Room special.

Secret Invasion: Should have been the B-plot of The Marvels,

If you're into gnosticism Eternal's is dope af, easily one of my favorite flicks save for the ones that get over just off fanfare. If you're just watching it like the next movie after Quantumania or something and guaging it squarely as 'super hero movie' it's a bit jarring.

Any upcoming Avengers vs. X-men angle will probably include the Eternals as per judgement day.

Scarlet witch : which includes Agatha

Eternals : totally undermines being a hero in every possible way. As well as being the wrong direction. Of moving away from grassroots street level marvel. For the always failed cosmic content.

Secret invasion : why make the skulls invasion. When captain marvel made simple sense. Of kree's and skrulls. Why delve and re-dive. even further into the first confusing divisive slash mass exodus based marvel content.

Killing cap and Tony: marvel learned nuffin from DC. They are flagship superheros. You do not kill flagship characters. You can not ealk it back and it totally ruins rhe viewership from suspension of belief.

Monica was underutilized and adored by rhe few who read avengers. Why sabotage Monica. For the two unlikeable versions.
Plus why even revamp the name. When the importance of death. Being final in marvel all time is tied to this as well.

Only captain thing that should have been used was spider man should have come back as captain to fight Thanos. Then had Peter die to put pressure on Sony. To make their own Peter Parker.

Instead marvel fukked up the siege of taking petey back.
Plus their patricide fascination nerfed two black panthers. When rhe obvious choice for black panther was.

Denzel : cast as t'chaka
Denzel son : cast as t'challa

What does Disney do. Follow the same failed content direction of black panther in the nineties fall of comic books era reboot.

That we are back. In the same death of marvel phase on film. To mirror the death of comics in print.

This was when the movies should have deviated from the comics to become the real marvel cinematic universe. That fixed.
