Mayne I want to have a home gym one day but I am :merchant: at all the equipment I'd be looking at

The only exercise I use barbells for is SLDLs... everything else is dumbbells or machines :to:

I'm looking at some of these machine prices... man eff this I think I will be a gym rat for life, I would never make the $$$$ back

Maybe in my old age I would switch to a real basic body weight routine. Just get a cage, do dips, body rows, etc....

What would your home gym be like??

A treadmill & an extra adjustable seat

One of those universal machines with a lat pull down machine, row machine, curl machine and tricep extension machine

A squat rack..

shyt so just about everything nikka. If ima get a home gym ima go all the way in otherwise ill just go to a gym & pay membership

:ohhh:

My local gym just built a sauna. Good thing, they don't have any "suspect" characters, like at commercial gyms.

As for the question:

All I would need is a barbell and maybe 500lbs worth of weights :youngsabo:

Be like @semtex Deadlifting 4 plates, damn near everyday...

Number one is a squat rack. Definitely need a 45 lb bar.

A bench and a pull up bar

Assortment of dumbells and a leg extension/hamstring curl machine.

A pulley machine, with a couple different bars to connect to it.

A treadmill or bike

And a seated calf raise machine.

There was a pic of Mark Wahlberg's home gym that i saw and it was just like a 24 Hr. Fitness or an equivalent. That's how i would do it.
