What would it be?

The last one was the 27th, ratified on this day in 1992, keeping current members of Congress from giving themselves raises.
What would you want to add/adjust/repeal?

I'd like to adjust that last one to leave congressional raises to the public and not themselves.

1. Empower the 4th amendment to have unlawful search and seizure digitally and remove probable cause.
2. Remove the 13th, 15th, 19th and see what happens seems as though we're so advanced and all men are created equal...
3. Create an amendment creating a minimum wage/living wage that rises in accordance of the COLA & inflation every year.

1. Single mothers will be banned from getting any state assistance if they have more than one kid out of wedlock.

Let these b*stards rot in the streets

Way more than one:

- Deliberately and clearly violating the Constitution by a public official is a high crime worthy of mandatory prison time.

- Mandatory establishment of multiple parties (5 or more preferably) in each Federal election, each funded by the state equally without exception. No private contributions. Polls and past election results determines funding.

- Justice Department is no longer staffed by appointments, but by election. Attorneys General cannot have have party affiliation. Breaks off to form the 4th system of checks and balances. Any Attorney General who is caught placing political favor and bias above the law faces mandatory prison time.

- Supreme Court Justices raised to 20. 10 appointed, 10 elected. Justices, elected or appointed, serve a max of 10 years and cannot be re-appointed or re-elected. Any 10-10 split requires a national vote on the issue.

- Voting for authorization of war by House members means those who voted yes automatically vacate their seats for a special election. Exceptions would include those who served in combat or those who have children who would be serving in combat if the war was authorized.

- Election Day is a Federal and National Holiday. Early voting is required by all states.

Definitely some kind of campaign finance reform. Something at the very least severely limiting private contributions from large donors..

The root cause of a LOT of issues in our political system is big money in politics. Politicians cater to big businesses and the wealthy, they have little incentive to care about the opinions of anyone without $$$.
