If you catch a new horse in Red Dead 2, how do you send your old one back to camp?

Just caught a white Arabian and put my saddle on it, but the other one is still just hanging out there. How do I bring them both back with me?

While you're on your second horse whistle to your main horse and it will follow you.

You could also double up on pelts this way

So I basically need to keep my saddle on my previous horse and ride the new one back into town with no saddle? And then stable it once I get to Valentine?

To my knowledge you could place your saddle on your new horse or just keep it on your old one. But yeah once you get to valentine stable your new horse

Lol yeah its a long ride depending where you are...that why i carry the shotty and rifle with me at all times
