It fits the current circumstances. I don't have the tools to hunt (car, solo crib) or time or I'm too lazy. I'd rather have one chick I can slam steadily than be chasing them, while I build my career. Being with a girl or 'unavailable' (emotionally and otherwise) ups your value too.
