How much work would the narrator have to put in?

I remember during the Goat Ant Arc he had to explain everything when they invaded the palace.

The new island arc had me confused after 10 pages I stopped reading.

Honestly not that much since they probably only have two episodes worth of chapters out past the ant arc.
