If Straight Outta Compton flops, what wll be the repercussions?

cant remember a black film being hyped this big in forever, whats the number we looking at for the weekend and total? seems like anything less than $100 million total will be seen as a disappointment.

i remember “notorious" opened up good. but then petered out pretty fast.


also, the reviews arent feeling me with hope. im seeing a lot of 6’s and 7’s outta 10. no terrible reviews, but no incredible reviews either.

Word but that's how prognostication works period. If it comes in at say..38 rather than 40, no big deal. If it comes in at 15 or 20, that's a different story. It wont be a flop it'll just under perform. In order it for it to constitute a flop, it would have to make none of its money back and it's a cheap movie so it should do that. It'd be different if we were talking about an 80-100 million dollar flick

It originally started as a movie about Eazy, well that's what his widow wanted. Then it changed hands and studios and Cube came aboard and obviously wanted more focus on his character and then it was decided that Eazy, Dre, and Cube would be the main characters

They must downplay his involvement because I read somewhere Aldis Hodge is playing him.
