If race were not an obstacle to getting people admitted into colleges, getting careers, marrying who they wanted etc. If people's opinions were not ignored simply because they were born with a different skin, do you think we would already have advanced technology, political structures and would art be more amazing? Do you think humans would have already been able to realize their potential?
I was just thinking about this while I was watching the Captain America movie. Note how diverse the crew he joins up with appears
I think the fact that the state never officially agreed that 1 group should have more rights than another could account for why technology is so advanced in the marvel movie universe(can't really say for sure when it comes to the comics but I think its the same way)
