This was the last Nitro before the Bischoff/Russo reboot took place 2 weeks later. Not sure where they were heading, but for some reason Vampiro came to Hogan's aid during that match which closed Nitro.

Plus, they had soured on Alex Wright/Berlyn's new gimmick pretty fast cause they felt like it had a Columbine motif or something like that, so they de-pushed him quickly and shifted their focus to The Wall.
