If Nash never left WWF/E in 1996 there would have been no need for a Stone Cold character. Agree?

Diesel was the original tweener character and when he left they gave the gimmick to Austin who ran with it.

Want more proof?

Austin was a phenom waiting to happen. His stuff in ECW showed that. He would've popped no matter who was there.

If there was no Stone Cold, there would have been no Rock when he started to come into his own after the Nation. Sure Rock would've been a Champion, but his persona played off of Stone Cold; Redneck vs. Corporate Champion.

If Nash's WCW run was of any indication....

Not sure what are you implying but if it's to say that Nash failed in WCW then that could not be further from the truth.

In fact you can realistically argue that Nash belongs in Top 10 DOA on the basis of his WCW run.

I've always said Diesel's last run in the WWF after he lost the title is crazy underrated and is proto-Attitude era.

He was never gonna be Stone Cold. Austin's charisma was on another level but there are a lot of similarities between the Diesel tweener character and Austin in 96 and 97.

He would've fit perfectly in the attitude era

What's that argument?

Not really..the fans cheered for the Rock at Summerslam because he was the best in the company at the time. The Corporate Champion stuff was just prolonging a guaranteed face turn.
