If it were up to you, what form would reparations come in?

Let's ignore the question whether it's politically feasible. I'm also not worried about getting bogged down on a specific dollar amount. Let's just say that your reaction to the amount of money is , could be better, but you can't deny that it will meaningfully help people.

What do these reparations look like? How are they distributed? To whom? Do individuals get checks, or are the funds spread more indirectly?

I think this would be fair!

1)Free college tuition for undergraduate, graduate and professional schools.

2) Lower interest rate loans for qualified black applicants, for small businesses.


I don't think it would ever happen, but this would be a great start.

Well, you would have to prove that you are a descendant of the Africans who were brought over here. I don't know if they would be able to do that via DNA or via the new slave records they are comprising for public release in the near future. you'd have more negroes claiming to be African than ever before!

Second, if you offer someone a free education, that doesn't necessarily put them in any better position than they are now, they are just free of college debt but could still end up with huge credit card debt trying to stretch their money due to lack of a job or job opportunity. Cut me a check, fukk the rest of that nonsense. No other group got babied with their reparations so give me mine in cold hard cash. They would be distributed similar to income tax refunds, so you can pick if you want a check (very dangerous), pre-loaded card or direct deposit.

I've been trolling/questioning some black folks in real life asking if America offered them and EVERY family member $5 million each to go back to Africa would they do it. The amount of no's was astounding, I even had a white dude cut in the convo and say ILL GO FOR FIVE MILLION! they really did a number on us.

At one point I was thinking that you would have to pass some type of test. Nothing hard but something that confirmed you understood your history/why the money was being given to you, financial literacy and the basics of working with so much money. Then I thought about it..first of all they would probably make that shyt as difficult as the questions southern voters had to answer during Jim Crow..and then fukk it they owe us this money so lets fukk up some commas

I think a nice tract of land with a few deepwater ports and some infrastructure would do more than any reparations in dollars would. Having a degree isn't going to make white or asian people any more likely to hire black people. A lump sum will just be blown on bullshyt.

Some of the cacs can stay but they are on an extremely strict visa and if they fukk up, they will be killed. No other way around it. They all have to do 4 out of 7 days of public service as well for the next 600 years.

All nikkas much get mental help. Even the best and most aware of us is fukked up by white supremacy and the toll it's taken on our bodies. We need to be rehabilitated both mentally and spiritually.

Naw, that's a very bad idea. We have a faux version of this after the Civil War and it ultimately flopped and lead us to where we are today. We aren't in that mental state for this to mean anything at all. Most of us hate each other in some way. It's not gonna work.
